TC56 - Sysmac SQL
Designed to illustrate the powerful, yet easy, implementation of Sysmac SQL database connection features.
Course details:
The course is primarily hands-on using dedicated training equipment, incorporating our Sysmac controllers with database connection. SQL concepts, examples and hands-on are shown specifically with Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) but note that this is NOT a MSSQL or other Relational Database Management System training course.
Introduction to SQL functions with Sysmac controllers:
- The Sysmac database connection controllers.
- Overview of the Sysmac SQL server interface.
Sysmac SQL configuration and programming:
- Connecting Sysmac controller to SQL database.
- Using the SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE and DELETE instructions to query, insert, update and delete data in database tables.
- Executing Stored Procedures.
Working with SQL:
- Monitoring the performance and status of the SQL connection.
- Handling lost connections with the Spooler.
- SQL debugging and logging features.
- Common SQL configuration problems.
- TLS connection overview.
The primary objective of the course is to provide a comprehensive introduction to the use of the Sysmac database connection controllers SQL server interface and programming instructions.
The course is suitable for engineers and technicians who are familiar with and have a good working knowledge of Sysmac Studio or have attended as a bare minimum the Sysmac Control Basic course TC51.
