EMI Class B and Power Factor Correction

The main improvements provided by the S8JX-P models are harmonic current suppression/PFC (Power Factor Correction) and EMI EN55011 Class B compliance. In addition, further functions have been implemented (applies only to 300 and 600 W models):

  • Remote Sensing, to compensate for voltage drops on the load lines.
  • Remote Control, using an external signal allows you to turn the output ON and OFF without removing the input voltage.
  • Alarm output, informing you about power supply errors, such as fan failure or insufficient voltage

The S8T-DCBU-01 buffer block provides a back-up time of 500 ms at an output current of 2.5 A.


With the S8M your machine will be directly UL Class 2 compliant, maximum tripping current is 3,8A per channel (adjustable). This unit control up to 4 circuits.
