OC4: NT-WIN Training Course Windows Based Software
|
This is an application course, which focuses on the integration of a PLC and HMI (Human Machine Interface). Basic to intermediate instructions are utilised through a range of engineering problems which allow the attendee to produce software solutions that are both functionally correct and provide a useful interface to the operator. Full training equipment is provided to allow the attendee to complete a number of examples and problems.

Explanation of in-built HMI diagnostic tools

Planning a useful operator interface

Importance of control and notify areas

Setting up system hardware

Downloading software to the HMI

Inserting, deleting, saving and verifying software

On-line software techniques:

Monitoring, modifying and forcing software elements

Use and implementation of:

Basic statement logic (LD, AND, OR, NOT....etc)

Control/coil logic circuits

Application of timers and counters

Introduction of basic function blocks

This course is aimed at those who have a basic knowledge of the 'C' PLC series range, and now want to design interfaces utilising Omron's 'NT' range of displays. It is ideally suited to those who have previously attended an OC1 training course, building on PLC knowledge to become proficient and confident in creating both PLC and NT software solutions.
