OC11: Basic PLC Training Course
|
This course is designed to provide newcomers to the area of PLCs a basic understanding of Omron ‘C’ series PLC technology. The attendee is introduced to specific terminology, ‘C’ series hardware and software and shown how to use handheld and PC based programming tools. The course is primarily hands-on with dedicated training equipment incorporating C200H Alpha PLCs provided to allow the attendee to put theory learnt into practice.

I/O addressing and memory maps

Handheld programmer/Syswin operation

Uploading and downloading software

Inserting, deleting, saving and verifying software

On-line software techniques:

Monitoring, modifying and forcing software elements

Use and implementation of:

Basic statement logic (LD, AND, OR, NOT.... etc)

Control/coil logic circuits

Application of timers and counters

Introduction of basic function blocks
|
The primary objective of the course is to provide a comprehensive introduction to the Omron range of ‘C’ series PLCs and a solid foundation on which the attendee can build through experience or from further Omron training courses.
