The training

Training on the Machinery Directive (2006/42/EC) will be conducted by an independent expert and include the following topics;

• Risk assessment requirements ISO 14121-1:2007
• Partially complete machines
• Application to modified machinery
• Application to assemblies of machines
• Health & Safety requirements ISO and European standards linked to the Machinery Directive
• Conformity assessment procedures
• Technical file compositions
• Declarations of Conformity and Incorporation  

To assist with machine design and practical installation, further topics will include;

• Current Safety Standards EN 954-1 and EN ISO 13849-1
• Standard for Safe distance of protective equipment, specifically relating to safety light curtains EN 999 (ISO 13855)
