New 204fps high speed cameras for Xpectia

Omron introduces a new range of high speed cameras for the popular Xpectia range of machine vision controllers. The FZ-SH range of cameras offer frame rates of 204fps and an image aquisition time of 4.9ms, making it one of the fastest cameras available for industrial applications. Available in VGA resolution with the option of colour or monochrome image capture, the FZ-SH is designed for applications demanding super fast image processing performance.

High speed acquisition of 4.9ms

The new FZ-SH cameras have an image aquisition time of 4.9ms, which is almost 7 times faster than standard industrial cameras and 2.5 times faster than previous models. With this superior performance, applications which were previously impossible due to time constraints can now be realised.

Faster processing for demanding applications

The desire to produce products more efficiently and at higher speeds places enormous demands on factory automation equipment. As an example, in high speed pick and place applications, it is often the vision system which can be the limiting factor, with regard to throughput.
