CP1 Family – built-in analogue I/O models now available

Omron has recently introduced the CP1E-NA20 models to its PLC range, which include two analogue inputs and one analogue output, as well as built-in serial communications and multiple high-speed pulse I/O for outstanding position control functionality.

Flexible expandability…

As well as a standard USB port for programming, the CP1E-NA20 includes a built-in RS-232C port supporting “Easy MODBUS” for the quick connection and control of inverter drives without the need for programming.

In addition to this, a second communications option module may be added and up to three further expansion I/O units, making a powerful and compact control system.

Powerful PID control…

Using Omron’s auto-tuning PID instruction in conjunction with the built-in analogue I/O or analogue/temperature sensor input expansion units, quick and accurate temperature or process control can be built into your applications, making CP1E-NA ideal for oven, furnace, refrigeration and plastic forming processes.

Complete family lineup

Omron has also added compact 10 and 14 I/O models to its CP1E-E range and 14 and 60 I/O models to the CP1E-N range, with expandability to 180 I/O, allowing you to select the ‘best fit’ configuration for your application.
