The challenge
The inspection result may not always be constant with the testing criteria as a result of human eye inspection.

The required accuracy for this application:
- tolerance: 200 to 300 micro meter

The solution
The displacement of the surface of the wheel hub is measured and cracks or chipped parts are detected. To do this, the wheel hub is put on the turntable and a sensor head mounted at an overhead position measures the displacement of the surface.

Key in this solution is to cancel out the vibration of the work surface during rotation with the filtering function (compare with the last value).
