Lockwell's, Wrexham branch becomes Omron’s newest authorised Distributor

Omron Electronics Ltd is a leading supplier of Industrial Automation products and services and has been working with Lockwell's for a number of years. Management decided to make this relationship official by awarding Lockwell's, Wrexham branch authorised distribution status in April 2008.

Lockwell’s are a national leading independant electrical distributor supplying mainly into industrial end users , electrical engineers and OEMs . They have been trading since 1975 and now have 29 branches nationwide (although only Wrexham and Bangor have Omron distributor terms).

The company is ISO9001 registered and is unique in the fact that they are NIC EIC registered so they can offer companies a design-build-install service. They can also offer in-house training courses for a wide range of electrical skills. The company is very customer service orientated and believes in holding a dedicated stock profile.

Lockwell's have approx. 600 existing accounts between their Bangor and Wrexham branches and therefore many customer relationships are already in place. Omron wanted a more official presence in the North of Wales and by making Lockwell's their authorised Distributor for the area they have been able to tap into this customer base.
